Alon: Small point....I no longer teach Hammer style. The ceiling dripping pulse is a complex image composed of slow arrival which is related to wave form. It slides past the fingers as a drop from a leaky ceiling. There is no force. What may be implied by textual descriptions (Tietao Deng and Lu Yubin) is the blood volume is low such that there is no width or connection between beats. The pulse comes and slowly slides between the fingers and disappears. This is a very rare pulse and I have felt it maybe two times in the last 6 years. It may be considered a death pulse under the correct circumstances. Will

Consider the percentage of the population that has suffered sexual abuse, compare this to the frequency and circumstances under which this pulse is found. The correlations don't hold up. Based on these observations it would be extremely difficult to define a causal relationship for such an interpretation. Where did you read the comment? And were the notions about scattered and ceiling dripping pulses collapsed together as your first post implied? Will
Guest guest
Alon regarding the notion that a ceiling dripping pulse is present with sexual abuse Wang Shuhe: "In addition, there are cases where several kinds of pulse images appear all at once or several categories of disease may exhibit the same kind of pulse.†This type of situation is reason for caution when stating such and such a pulse is indicative of such and such an event in the life of an individual.
