Guest guest
For those of you that *may* be treating someone with CNS pain, this may prove useful. CNS pain can be related to many things but it's often found in Stroke Survivors (about 20% of us). Several months ago, Todd kindly offered me some herbal advice - Huang Qi & Dan Shen. I helped considerably but it didn't fix the problem (no probel there, neurologists can't fix it). I did an experiment - took a month's sabbatical from the herbs. This a.m. my CNS was unusually cranky plus tongue readings told me that my body wasn't happy with life. I resumed the Huang Qi & Dan Shen and got almost instant relief. Again, the pain didn't go away entirely but they certainly made life more tolerable. When working with these herbs and Stroke Survivors the only caution (that I know of) is that Dan Shen must not be used around Coumadin or any other form of " blood thinner " - yes, I know, there are many herbal approaches to blood thinners but it's difficult to fly in the face of allopaths on those. So, MANY thanks for your most helpful suggestion. Auctions - buy the things you want at great prices http://auctions./

There are many types of CNS mediated pains. The quality of CNS pain is most often burning and not related to any activity. Any more info on this combination ? It is similar in action to the classical rx bu yang huan wu tang
