I know this question was asked before, but I received no response… Was

wondering if anyone had instructions on how to perform home-made herbal

extractions (not tinctures) for herbs like huang qi etc…??

Jason;

Yep; I've got some information but some clarification on terminology is

required; technically speaking, most extractions are tinctures.

If you are asking about dried extracts, Chris Hobbs has instructions in

his book Medicinal Mushrooms, under reishi. He uses eluthero powder as

his binder.

Can you please explain.. I see a difference between the two. What I am

looking for are instructions on processing herbs in a non-tincture based

method (i.e. soaking in alcohol or whatever for 2 months)....

Thanx,
