Guest guest
Someone sent an amazing article to the Paracelsus list called: "Does the Heart Have a Brain, An interview with Joseph Chilton Pearce" -- very pertinent to this discussion. Discusses, amongst other things, the physical connections between the brain and the heart -- research findings that 60-65% of the cells of the heart are neurons and that the heart produces a hormone called Atriol Neuriatic Factor which affects the limbic system. Doesn't seem appropriate for this list, so I will forward it to the acupuncture-guild and if anyone wants me to forward it to them privately, let me know.
