Guest guest
I'm resubmitting a case I presented about a month ago, patient is 50 year old male, who has high bp all his life. He has a flushed face, has had weight gain lately esp in abdomen. Has had some chest pressure, feels warm(esp at nite), has headaches around top & sides of head more frequent lately. No digestive sx reported. Lately, has had dizziness. has some loss of hearing. Tongue: slightly reddish with yellow coat esp in center crack, some areas of no coat, slight scallopps. Pulse wiry+ weaker on left and kd position. I gave patient formula with gou teng 12, tien ma 6, ju hua 6, ba ji li 6,shi jue ming 12,zhi zi 6, xia ku cao 9, sang ji sheng 9, dan pi 6. Dizziness stopped, no chest pressure, however loose stools, after 1 week changed formula, slightly added mu li 15 upped dose of gou teng to 15, ba ji li to 9, shi jue ming to 15 and zhi zi to 9. Patient has less headaches, not dizzy, stools ok, not feeling warm, however his blood pressure is about the same 140/100. My dx was lv yang risimg with lv heat, yin xu(kd). I was going to follow up these formulas with yin & sp tonics. He is taking about 9 grams herbs a day. Is this large enough dose? This is fairly un- balanced formula. Any suggestions? Also, anyone have experience giving jue ming zi daily for high bp? steve snyder Auctions - buy the things you want at great prices http://auctions./
