Guest guest
I supervised one MS case in the student clinic. The patient, a large man with Wei syndrome, had been coming in for a few months because a friend convinced him he " should " . The results were not great. The first time I had the case I watched the student needle him and saw at least part of the problem. I got some 2 inch, large guage (30) needles and aggresively needled the foot Yang Ming channel, St. 31, 32, 34, 36 etc... among others. (look in that small section about channel pathologies towards the back of CAM) He started coming twice a week on days I was there. We also convinced him to take powdered herbs. He stopped using the cane when walking. He's not cured but better. What is " successful " ? I have treated MS patients who had balance problems, > tremors, numb feet, poor memory, fatigue, bowell incontinence w/certain > foods....kidney stones...hypertension > > I am not sure if I was successful or not? In one specifinc case these > symptoms were alleviated almost entirely with acupuncture and herbs...
