It just occurred to me, why don't I do more experimentation instead of asking

questions? I just cooked up some Fu Ling to introduce to my students, and I

thought, why am I going to all this trouble, since it has no taste? But it

turns out my students noticed all kinds of subtle tastes to it -- one man

said it smelled like crayons! and it does!
