This may have been what he was doing. The process for producing a low-tech

dried formula has been used in Japan for generations and some Japanese

Kampo physicians have classified these formulas as if they were individual

medicinals and use them in formulas as such.

 

Taiwan was under Japanese control for a considerable period and there are a

number of residual Japanese influences.

Thank you for suggesting the Kampo influence. I recently received another Email that suggested the same thing. And I was wondering where this doctor might have gotten the Japanese influence. I'd forgotten that prior to WWII Taiwan was under Japanese influence. Politics and medicine do have some rather interesting connections.

 

Certainly after the way these herbs worked for me. I am interested in finding out more about this method.
