Guest guest
On a pound of Ye Jiao Teng I bought recently, there was a sticker saying it contained substances known to the state of California to cause cancer. Does anyone know what this is about? Pesticides? ============================== Peter L. Guest guest
This was explained in the Mayway MAiler that came out this week.It explained that in California, Proposition 65 is now requiring these warning labels on all herbs that contain heavy metals above a specified " safe harbor " level, and the way Mayway explained it, the threshhold is quite low (1/1000 th of the level known harmful for pregnant women). Mayway also mentioned the link www.envirolaw.org which I have not checked out yet.
