42 yo lady needs help with breast cancer

Hello everyone,

 

This morning a wonderful lady came to see for help in treating her

and her breast cancer. She had a rasdical mastectomy last month and

is trying very hard to handle the upheaval. She has a previous hx of

BC that went into remission 10 ya when she made the switch to a macro

diet.

 

Her demeanor appeared to be very calm and concered. Her face is

rather dark a shen weakened with slight puffiness under both eyes and

a little malar flush of the cheeks. Both hands and feet were cold to

the touch; she reports very little perspiration and no feelings of

empty heat. She reports her enrgy level to be good amnd works 2 jobs

but admits that it had been very poor prior to macro diet and yoga.

 

BM & Urine normal. Appetite good but small quantity. She has a long

hx of ha over the Rt eye (TW23. No other eye sx reported

norlightheadedness or dizziness. Sleeps very good too; low sex drive.

Nails pale; hair dry.

 

Pulse: 85BPM L: float thin weak wider & vacuous at the LU/LI and

tense/ stroner at the LV/GB positions KI has root. R: bowstring and

thin.

Tongue: thin with scalloped on edges with pale red edges, overall

color is pale; a vertical crack from rear to LU and very moist.

 

TCM Dg: Qi Blood Vacuity with concomittant Liver Yang rising.

 

She will begin 3 courses of chemo next month to be followed by a

course od radiation.

 

I am asking for your opinions in managing this case.
