Guest guest
Shelley, No doubt there are others here that can help you with the herbs. My suggestion is that you try to help your patient with her resentment. I have recently read an article and I paraphrase: " Resentment is a good moral response at first in that it says " Hey, I am a person of worth, and you've hurt me, and I'm not going to take this! " and quoting: " The problem with resentment occurs when it continues for months or years at a very deep level. " People often hang onto resentment because they think that to forgive someone you also have to excuse their behavior, or that if you forgive someone you can't also seek justice, or that if you forgive someone, you have to start letting them harm you again. There are several books that could help your client free herself from her past. One is " Forgive and Forget " by Lewis Smedes. By the same author is " The Art of Forgiving " . There is a new one coming out by the first scientist to study forgiveness called " Forgiveness is a Choice. " by Robert Enright. Hope this helps. PS I could mail you a copy of the article if you are interested. Toham Kum Rah, Dana Corbin
