Hi locals!

I hope someone can help... does anyone know if we re-sale herbs to our

patients what kind of licensing do we need? I have the Business Tax &

Ficticious name filing, however cannot find a number for re-saling or salers

permit. Also, do we need a license from the Health Department?

Thanks.

To sell herbs, you'll need to pay your business tax for a business

license and that is regulated by your city or county. In Santa Monica,

I pay the city some of my blood, er, money to do business here.

The ficticious name filing is only if you want to open up a business

bank or checking account under a name other than Teresa Hall. This

ficticious name will also prevent others from using the same name as

your business in SD county.

For the sales permit that leads to the collection of sales tax you'll

want to fill out some forms at your local California Board of

Equalization office. There are many all over the place.

I don't think that the health department has anything to do with what we

do. Of course, if you want to stick needles into people you'll need that

L.Ac. thing from California too.

Those are the only three licenses that I can think of you needing at

this point.
