Guest guest
hi, anyone have experiance treating tinitus? I have a difficult case of tinitus, the reason was a trauma to the head 18 years ago( got hit in both sides of the head by a karatee man.........) which caused the tinitus ( both ears). Since then there's been ringing in the ear with intense volume and discomfort. other symptoms are anxiety and depression( thanks to this situation...though anxiety appeared before the onset of the tinitus).bad breath, occasionally red eyes, phlegm in lung, occasionally when drinking alcohol or eating penuts- difficult and burning urination. He was a well known soccer player, dark complextion- especially around the eyes. lower back pain. tongue- red tip, a bit swollen yello coating pulse- huge and empty, wiry he is 58 years old, . he is taking xannax for the depression and some relief of the tinitus.Lately the volume is more intense, and the depression therefore more severe. I've givven him a modification of Wen Dan Tang - which took care of the phlegm and seems that depression and enxiety is more balanced. any ideas ? Guest guest
xannax for the depression >>>>This drug can actually cause depression. It is used for anxiety and is very addictive. I would get him of it as soon as possible. If he needs western meds there are much better drugs Alon
Guest guest
Hi,Boaz, Thank you for your add. the other day. Buddha's death presents the nature law of earth because people all get born and enveturally, will die. This is nature law and no one can break it. Buddist monks got aging due to those practices and food, meditation. About your patient,I think he is extremely Liver and Kidney Yin insufficiency. And it cost liver yong up to very hight,so ,he feel depression and anxity and some bad emotion. What is 'tinitus " ,my PDA can't find the word. >Since then there's been ringing in the ear with intense volume and discomfort. Kidney has connection with ear.Kidney yin xu might cause the rining sound of the year. > other symptoms are anxiety and depression( thanks to > this situation...though anxiety appeared before the > onset of the tinitus).bad breath, occasionally red > eyes, phlegm in lung, occasionally when drinking > alcohol or eating penuts- difficult and burning > urination. He was a well known soccer player, dark > complextion- especially around the eyes. lower back > pain. tongue- red tip, a bit swollen yello coating > pulse- huge and empty, wiry> he is 58 years old, . he is taking xannax for the depression and some relief of the tinitus.Lately the volume is more intense, and the depression therefore more severe. I suggest you should check " Zi-Bo Di4-hounh4-wong2 " and " Shou-Yau-San " (make people happy's TCM formula) or " long-Dan(dragon-gall)-Xia liver soup. These all depend on the patient's condition. Check the TCM book first before you make decision. When you deal with the high liver youn and kindey fire, then tonic liver yin and Kidney yin very carefully.Beware if he got Hepatitis or not. Guest guest
Todd you mentioned some time ago your sucess of treating tinnitus using 8 extras..............I know its off topic ie acupuncture.........but perhaps you could make an exception. I have always found tinnitus and deafness very difficult to treat. Heiko
