I feel there is so much to be offered by both ways of thinking! I spend part of my time working with an MD... there are so many people there, that are receiving acupuncture who may not ever been exposed to it... if this MD was not so open to having me there *S* One of the biggest challenges for me, is I am forever hearing the Western Dx. and sooooooooo I am constantly questioning myself... now what does this mean in TCM?! I am grateful to many teachers that I had at PCOM, that promoted the idea of integrated medicine! I absolutely love TCM and that I am part of such a dynamic system...and that I know that at least in this life time, I will never " know " all there is " to know " about TCM! I love that within our medicine there are sooooooooo many challenges and I love knowing that as long as I know that I am doing my best... all is well *S* Having been to China... and watching incredible Doctors feel the pulse and come up with a list of herbs was truly amazing... it certainly gives me something to strive for!!!
