Hi,Kelly,

maybe yor should read Dr. Fruehaul's article more

clearly before you did sharp criticise.

> >1.I don't think TCM in China and Taiwan should

> change the name into Classical CM. I think, for

> distinguish the difference, TCM in western should

change the name in WESTERN STYLE CHINESE

MEDICINE,WSCM, because TCM in western is no longer in

real TCM style according to Chinese standard, and,TCM

will be TCM for ever because since 1000s years ago

that it is the name.

> >Kelly: TCM is " Western Style " ...It

> is only 40+ years old (not 1000+) founded upon the

marxist, atheistic, principles of dialectical

materialism which is " western " . TCM was the

" standard " chosen by the government as a body of

medicine to offer the World Health Organization. If

anything is " standard " TCM is.

You should read more before you do sharp criticise/

Dr.Fruehaul suggested seprate TCM into TCM and

CCM(classical TCM) in western. And ,He provide the

opinion (suggestion)that TCM is modern western style

TCM,CCM is traditional chinese style TCM,if I didn't

misunderstand his opinions.

In western, you called us(TCM) as alternative medicine

..complementary medicine. In both mainlamd and China,we

call TCM =TCM traditional chinese medicine.I don't

think both in Mainland and Taiwan should seprate TCM

before 20 century as CCM,TCM after 20 century as TCM.

Or,both in mainland and Taiwan we call ourself(TCM) as

CCM.and called western style TCM is TCM.

I believe it is the name TCM since 1000s years ago

that we always used in China and Taiwan. Please don't

think it is arrogant of chinese.

It was " standardized " to be taught in

> >universities.

sure.you miss the focus.

> >2.Daoism borrow the TCM theory(Yin and Yong

> >,Qi ,and others)

>

> Kelly: Daoism has two different schools as you know:

> philosophical and religious. It also existed well

before TCM.

Maybe,but ,how do you know?

>Yin yang and five phases were

> around way before " TCM " as I am sure you know a lot

> better than I if you studied the I Ching for 10

years on your own.

Of course,I read them more then ten years. But,I think

Yin,yang and five phase should seprate to see in their

origin if you are really also understand TCM very

well.

In ancient Time(son4-gu3-shi2-qi2),Fu-Si-shi invent

yin and yang and eight yin, yang pattern,Ba-gua.We

called it Shan-Tan-Ba-Gua. Sen-long shi taste 100*100s

herbs and set the rule of TCM.Have-nest shi teach us

build house. Some other God teach us how to make fire.

I also believe they are all in the same era according

to our mythology.

During that era,I didn't see five phase. But,I do see

the TCM beause Sen-long teste 100s*100s herbs. That was

the origin of TCM.

Therefore,I don't think daoism = TCM.

Where does five phase from?I think it from India.have

you watch the movie " fifth elements " . earth ,water

wine, fire.and LOVE. When the buddhism(or much earlyer

while india had contact with china) come to China, they

bring those ideas.

We chinese think that it is not quite the truth of

four elements because we found copper very

early.therefore, there must be some gold(gin) also

exist in the uiversal. That's why TCM use five phase to

explain unversal.

If we think deeply, gold also from earth, isn't it?

And,I don't think it(ying, yang and five phase) belong

to daoist or daoist create both of them.I think daoism

pick up every new information they met in the passing

years, combind themself with chinese culture and

progress with the chinese culture through religion and

theory and magic tricks. We see many of them since we

are childhood and daily life in Taiwan.

We have every different daoism style religion in

Taiwan, more then you can imagine. I know what daoism

is.as well as buddhism,I also read FO-Gin very much.

>TCM is the victim of religion.??????Kelly:

> Really? How can something founded upon principles of

> dialectical materialism

> be a " victim " of religion?

Because in some period of China, when the western

medicine came in ,people criticise TCM is blind

worship

(especially in the end of Chin-dynasty the last mother

empore ch-si permit yi-he-twain performence sen-dar.)

and ,also, according to Dr.Fruehaul, KMT also treat TCM

as blind faith and not a good treatment skills during

at least passing 50+ years.

Therefore,TCM is a victum of religion.I think you

should read Dr.'s artice before made criticise.

> There were always

> >mentioned in our records that Buddhism or monks or

> >daoist are also the great master of Martial ARTS or

> >TCM.Those Daoism and Buddhism use TCM?>

> Kelly: I think they used the concepts of Yin Yang

> and five elements within

> the context of their belief system

Because Budda is from India,I have no any doubt of

this.Of course.

Daoism pick up and attached the religion closed with

chinese socilty to keep their exsit.

> The concepts of qi, xue, body fluids, yin, yang, five

> phases are not offspring of TCM or limited in their

use only within TCM.

Sure,if you know quite well in both WM and TCM, they

can explain each other very well in combind, they are

not seprate in some part of both.

But,before reach this level, people have to jump in TCM

,not stand on the dege of TCM.

> As you have reiterated this is a macrosystem....Qi,

> yin,yang, five phases,

> can be used to describe the universal movement of

> all things under heaven, and well actually the

heavenly movements as well....In the context of

> systems, TCM is just another microsystem.

OF COUSE,I ALSO BELIEVE THERE IS NOT ONLY ONE UNIVERSE

IN THE WORLD.BUDDHA MENTIONED IT BEFORE,THERE ARE

UNKOW

UNIVERSES IN THE WORLDS.

I NEVER SEE TCM AS A DICTATOR,AUTOCRAT.I ONLY REQUEST

PEOPLE WHO LEARN TCM SHOULD GET THE WHOLE PICTURE OF

TCM,NOT PARTIAL OF TCM,TAHT'S ALL.

> Kelly

Thank you very much,kelly.
