Hi,every one,

 

There are variety wines (liquor) on the world.

The raw materials are rice, wheat, millet, corn,

fruits, grain¡K

 

Since ancient time, Chinese people prefer rice wine to

be used in daily.

The only reason I know is that rice enter to spleen.

rice wine good for some use method.But,wind is not

good for healthy ,it create spleen dampness.

 

The use of rice wine In Asia are:

 

1.for cook use only. Like rice wine chicken soup,

sesame oil chicken,

fishes soups¡K.all need rice wine to maintain flavor

and make them

more delicious or eliminate fishy. Recently, Both

Mainland and Taiwan

will join to WTO.

 

The first impact to us is the lack of cooking used

rice wine. This made our Government headache very

much. We have a level of rice wine is to be use for

cooking and make herbal wine in winter time. Before

enter WTO, it costs 0.8 us dollar. After join WTO, the

price go up to $4.5 because WTO assume this kind of

rice wine should be drink. In fact, no body will drink

it because it taste terrible. This kind rice wine got

a slang name: shake head, this is because it taste

terrible,

 

when people drink it, he will shake his head and say:

no! no! Yak!But,The house woman have to line up for

purchasing them. Each person can buy Two bottles only.

 

 

House wife line up for buying rice wine not because we

don¡¦t have money( Our GNP: More than $15000 per

year.) ,because people like the food flavor rice wine

create.

 

2.the low quality herbal wine add the cooked rice

wine. The good quality herbal wine have to add high

quality rice wine. These are also connected with the %

of alcohol the rice wine is. High alcohol density of

rice wine might extraction the good composition of

herbs.

 

3.Since we ate rice every day. It is also not very

difficult to make rice wine by self.

Therefore, monks of Shao-lin-shi made herbal wine by

themselves.

 

4.Herbal wine(medicinal liquor) have two use

methods,1.for internal drink,

one for external use. The effectiveness of medicinal

liquor depends on the herbal

formula. Some are strengthen the kidney yin and yang

or other system, on this

approaches, patient have drink it every day like

medication by doctor¡¦s order.

 

Some for help the circulation of internal or external

Qi, and blood.

 

After Boxing punch or Kun-fu practice, The area of

injury might get bruise , contusion out side of skin

surfaces or inside of organs(or in modern approach,

athletics injury).The medicinal liquor is very useful.

 

But, all have to follow the TCM doctor¡¦s order.

 

These all can turn into scientific research if any of

you like to do so.I use simple words of English to

express how TCM act in Taiwan and mainland

does not mean that I am not in academic way. I can

provide evidences for supportive material from books

if you need.

I'm wondering what other liquors are likely to enter the spleen like rice

" wine " . Rice wine (80 proof liquor) is quite expensive here. Would

whiskey be better than vodka which generally comes from potatoes? How

about rum, which is from sugar cane and perhaps similar to sorghum

liquor?

You can make experiment by your self,Ha!

Use very small glass can to do experimental very well.

Yes, because it is assumed that should be drink.:)

And,we use it not only drink it ,but also cooked

or make herbal wine(medicine wine).

Well,if we discuss about wine,we should think this

way:the way that liquor made.That's why chinese always

use rice wine and sorghum liquor to make medicine

wine.

 

A.rice and sorghum liquor

Steaming(wait till cold) +wine yeast then,put into

big pottery(tao-geo-tan),keep in a dark,air circulate

(wine need breath,pottery can provide this function)

area for 10,20,30....years.When it is matured,

distillation to make good quality rice wine or

sorghum liquor.

 

The whole procedure didn't add any other stuff.

 

B.Wisky and beer:

made by wheat, add yeast and some other stuff.then

put it inot oak bottle(the oak bottle also can be

seen like one ingredient because it made by

wood)stored.Then,make chemistry development.

 

c.Fruits or sugar cane :

we treat sugar(glucose) materials wine as a soft

drink.

It is even not a qualified liquro

 

d.Vodka:

I bought vodka once.It also transparency and clear.

but,I think potato starch(amylum) is total different

then rice.Do you use corn starch,we use potato and

sweet potato to make starch powder but never use rice

powder to do so.Therefore,I think the wine from potato

starch must different then rice wine.

 

You may try vodka to do experiment.Bacause rice wine

is cheaper here(before join WTO).therefore,we prefor

rice wine and sorghum liquor.

 

Do you know excellent quality rice liquro wouldn't

make you headache after get drunk.

Nan-jing(chung-su province) produt an excellent wine

(Ho-yang-da-chu),one of ten famous wine in mainland.

It is the most excellent rice liquro I have ever

taste,more excellent they wu-lian-yi.and,you can buy

it in suppermarket in Nanjing.

 

I am a curious girl(for mental age,ha!).I like to

taste every strange things I met,only small bite or

small amoung.then I will know what it is.
