The author, guohui liu, agrees that this method of tx can shorten the course and improve outcome. Now that sounds more like the naturopathic approach to treating fevers. Great book eh Todd? I especially appreciate the readability rendered by this transliterative style. At last a book that is enjoyable to read--what a breath of fresh air. I appreciate the technical virtues of Wiseman's conventions, especially one-to-one correlations for character references......But, they do create a stilted read. I am going to review it for this list, but I can say already that books written like this have their place. I like wiseman for direct translations of classics and even modern texts. But when it comes to commentary and original presentations in english, I think there is much to be said for this approach. A similar book with regard to style and readability is Clavey's fluid physiology. However, I would still appreciate a glossary of technical terms, whatever the methodology being used. > > I appreciate the technical virtues of Wiseman's conventions, especially > one-to-one correlations for character references......But, they do create a > stilted read. > > Will
