As some of you know, Andy Ellis identified an herb ID problem about 8 years

ago. About a dozen commonly used chinese herbs were being substituted

with species other than what is listed in Bensky. In many cases,

these substitutes did not have some of the expected properties of the textbook

herbs. Andy has worked with KPC to ensure their powders are correct

in this matter. I wonder if anyone knows if Brion, Qualiherb and

Lotus are also up to speed on this. I know mayway's raw herbs are

now correct and have been for some time.
