Does everyone know that OCOM has received an NIH grant to study TCM for

endometriosis. The study will compare standard medical therapy to

TCM treatment using four pattern subgroups receiving differential TCM tx.

$250,000. The patients will be taking granules. With regard

to research, it is likely to be based upon accepted european models where

the only forms of herbs that will be approved for research are those made

from products with some degree of standardization and quality controls

(like granules). Thus, research on raw herb formulas is unlikely

to ever occur on a large scale in the US, IMO.
