You will also find that, in his book, Leon Hammer has cited traditional sources for many of the pulse qualities he describes. These source were the available English language translations. Therefore, any perceived improvements in terminology in the teachings and writing by Leon Hammer are relative to the English, not the Chinese, terminology.
