My experience with these situations is that if the acupuncture 'wears off', or the herbs don't work, I don't have the complete pattern down. What is the pulse and tongue picture? How is the patient's digestion? Are there dietary factors, such as caffeine or sugar? What emotional factors set it off? Do the headaches occur at a certain time of day? Is the patient using any medications? The usual reason that we are not getting results is that we need to see a bigger picture.
