With many difficult cases I tell the patient, " yes, chinese medicine treats

this, but if you were in China you would be in a hospital where we can monitor

your herbs and medication twice a day. "

That usually sobers them up to seeing an MD or at least getting a realistic view

of the degree of their disease.
