Guest guest
Patient- 9 year old girl Symptoms What looks to be a growth under the tongue. But the strange thing about it is that it seems to be filled with air. It is under her tongue on the left side. And it is painless She went to the hospital and it was diagnosed as a salivary duct stone. And they recommended immediate surgery. Tongue diagnosis: pale red with a slight white coat over the entire tongue, thorns or strawberry appearance, and some scalloped edges. She does has very bad sight too. Other than the that she appears to be very healthy. Does anyone have any experience treat salivary stones. Thanks Steve

I have had difficulty with this type of case. I know people who have used essential oil application in the mouth on the duct with claimed success. You could try essential oil of peppermint.
