Guest guest
Although I no longer need to be conflicted about revealing the cause of Tam's death , I stand by the assertion that his rejection of WM ( " youthful age at death " ) had any relationship to his martial level ( " found that teaching elusive " ). Its news to me, and to Ben, that Professor counseled him early on to have an appendectomy, as he had already long passed on when the burst occurred. Now I see that's why you said " found that teaching elusive. " It sounded like you meant martial teaching elusive, what you meant was 'medical advice elusive.' I haven't seen any response to the possibility of obtaining Professor's CM texts. Is there any interest amongst the group? -pz >>contains an important message, which is what I meant to evoke... Ken >>I appreciate your respect for the Professor, but I think it unfair to assume Tam's youthful age at death had any relationship whatsoever to his embodiment, or not, of the Professor's teaching. -pz >>it's appropriate for us to contemplate the fact that even someone as close as Tam found that teaching >>elusive. Guest guest
Pamela, Its news to me, and to Ben, that Professor counseled > him early on to have an appendectomy, as he had already long passed on when > the burst occurred. I may not have made myself clear. But I didn't mean to say that the Professor counseled Tam to have an appendectomy. Prof. Cheng had been dead for several years. What I said was that Tam once said that Prof. had predicted that he would have a life threatening crisis in his health in his early 40's. Now I see that's why you said " found that teaching > elusive. " It sounded like you meant martial teaching elusive, what > you meant was 'medical advice elusive.' What I said was with respect to " longevity through softness. " What Tam found elusive, alas, was longevity. > I haven't seen any response to the possibility of obtaining Professor's CM > texts. Is there any interest amongst the group? I'm love to see any that you have. Thanks, Ken
