Dear group,

Does anyone have a text file with pinyin and latin side by side. OR has

anyone created a macro that will insert the latin after the pinyin in a

document?

Jason:

Don't have the text file, but I have played with the " macro " idea. If

you are a MS Word user you can use autoCorrect (Tools-AutoCorrect).

Once there, I suggest AutoText.

I have played with AutoCorrect, but once you do that you will get

your pin yin, Latin, etc. every time you type the name of an herb

unless you turn the AutoCorrect function off for that document.

AutoText on the other hand, will appear as a " pop up " as you type and

you can accept it by hitting enter or reject it by continuing to type.

In either case, your are in for a fair amount of data entry (thus

your request for the text file;)

If you are not a Word user, I am certain WordPerfect will offer

something comparable. (I have taught both, but haven't used

WordPerfect or any other word processor for a couple of years now).

Hope that helps.
