Guest guest
Does anyone have experience of kidney toxicity when patients have been taking decocted herbs long-term? Can swollen eyes be the result of taking too many moving herbs? -salma

" moving " herbs often deplete the qi and yin. there are pathomechanisms for both leading to swollen eyes. inorder to determine whether the herbs have causerd the sdie effect, it is necessary to determine the pattern of disharmony that underlies the swollen eyes and see if makes sense in terms of the herbs that were used. It is also possible that it is an allergic reaction to an herb and has nothing to do with formula's action, per se.
