Guest guest
Has anyone had any experience with Sanjiugranules-powders from East-Earth Herbs? I see thatthey are soldin very small amounts 3-30 grams per herb so you don'thave to buy large amounts, however I'm concerned aboutquality. Are they as good as KPC? If you want toe-mail>>>>In the same vain is anybody using may way powders? they are much cheaper than others and I wander about quality Alon

I checked them out about 8 years ago and found the powders tended to clump into hard rocks. perhaps this problem has been corrected.

I,m not really sure about how to judge the quality of powders but they seem to work as well as the rest and only a very few clump together with moderate turnover. Perhaps I should conceder using them. Do they seem to smell and taste as strong as the Taiwan companies? Alon
Guest guest
I've found the mayway granules to clump. Lotus and KPC don't clump as much. My main problem with mayway and lotus granules is that the granules are too fine and tend to stick to everything. KPC granules clump a bit but are a little more coarse, so they pour into the bottles without sticking to everything. We did some taste tests when we bought granules at my school, and the general consensus was that Min Tong granules had the most potent taste. We ended up using Lotus though, so I can't comment on effectiveness of the Min Tong granules. In fact the brand from Beijing whose name I forget, is much the cheapest but much the most " authentic " smelling. Sometimes the same herb from different companies looks and tastes totally different however, clinically, where one can say that a formula clearly relieves a symptom, I have never noticed a difference between brands. But thats not high science! Simon
