You can buy a " color bar card " used to calibrate video at a photo supply shop. If you take a picture of it in the lighting you use to shoot the tongue photos, and retain it with each roll or digital image set, you can use it to calibrate your monitor, and to set the color values of any imaging program you might use. It is cheap, more accurate than trying to match tongue tones, and the simplifies the calibration of the printer or imaging software, as well as your exposure setting (ASA of film, and the speed/fstop camera setting).
