Guest guest
Dear All, A toddler is going to come and see me who has oesaphageal scarring due to having swallowed kettle descaler. He sounds to have a certain range of swallowing function, it is worse when he is angry or upset, so I am going to use some herbs and maybe massage for that. However I wondered about the possibility of direct contact of herbs, prehaps in a syrup vehicle, to soften the scarring a bit prior to an attempt to stretch the oesaphagus. The first attempt at stretching perforated it and produced more scar tissue so this next will be the last and then it is major surgery. I would appreciate any thoughts and experiences on the possibility of herbs helping and which ones might be tried. Simon
