Guest guest
Thanks for all your responses. Reading this last post made me realize what my conflict was about. Usually I take a Ram Das/Buddhist approach with my patients that says " you are doing fine " with whatever it is they are going through. In other words to try to heal them of their own unhappy attitude towards their own illness. Making up a recent publicity brochure was saying in effect, " you are ill " and that was bothering me. One big problem is that unfortunately, I can't find a " reputable " study that offers the same kind of results (even a measely 25 percent) that interferon has towards a sustained elimination/undetection of the virus. (Anyone?) Without that fact, my statements become vague when people are so understandably focused on their viral loads. thanks for your time, doug > " Jody Herriott " <jherriot > Re: publicity > > Doug, think of it as the glass which is half empty or half full. You're looking at the half empty view. The " misery " is there no matter what you're doing. Instead, you're offering them a solution, or at least some relief and hope; the glass is also half full. > o
