A weight loss supplement imported from China has killed one consumer and

caused anther eleven to become seriously ill with liver problems, according

to an article in the Daily Yomiuri. The Japanese government and Keio

University are trying to determine which supplements caused the problem, but

noted it has already found traces of pharmaceutical compounds.
