Does anyone know if this passage below is the standard interpretation of

the five heart heat sensation? what Liu says is " relatively hot soles and

palms " , being relative to the back of the hands and top of the feet. Is

this detected by the doctor or patient or both? It makes sense that it

would be a relative sensation, just as the heat in yin xu is not excess,

but only relative to the yin vacuity. So if the hands and feet are

equally hot all over, does this point to something other than yin vacuity?
