Guest guest
Does anyone know if this passage below is the standard interpretation of the five heart heat sensation? what Liu says is " relatively hot soles and palms " , being relative to the back of the hands and top of the feet. Is this detected by the doctor or patient or both? It makes sense that it would be a relative sensation, just as the heat in yin xu is not excess, but only relative to the yin vacuity. So if the hands and feet are equally hot all over, does this point to something other than yin vacuity? > Warm diseases a clinical guide, Page 94, 2nd paragraph under kidney > patterns and more specifically pg. 96 in the chart , under the column > " signs & symptoms " for Kidney, they describe " sensation of greater warmth > in the soles and palms than in the top of foot and back of hand " as Ki > yin xu indications.
