Guest guest
Dear List Members, I am looking for a practitioner in Somerset, NJ or somewhere within a radius of 20 min driving time from Somerset. It is for a patient who is suffering from chronic lymphocytic leukemia and needs help rather quickly. She is very weak and therefore cannot travel too far. Her son found me through www.chinesemedicalhematology.com and wanted for me to treat her. As I am not willing to write prescriptions and treat people over the phone or via the internet (I live in Switzerland), I told him I would try to find someone close by who would be willing to cooperate and work togehter with me in treating her. I would be available for questions, comments, and tips. I could also send translations of recent Chinese research etc. So the practitioner should be willing to share and cooperate and needs to be a good herbalist. I have had a patient from the US who came to Switzerland (for different reasons; not only to see me) and then was treated by me. Her US acupuncturist/herbalist was not willing to share her file about that patient (who also suffered from chronic leukemia) with me. Even though the patient asked a second time and then went on her journey, that practitioner did not fax me her information. As this is the prominent wife of an even more prominent American Chinese medical practitioner, I am speechless. What kind of professional community is this where fellow practitioners are unwilling to share patient files (for the benefit of the patients). My point is that the person seeing this lady with CLL should be willing to work together. Plus, I was wondering if this has happend to other list members or if I was just a bit unlucky. Sincerely, Simon Becker
