Guest guest
In order to place yourself in a " hairy position " in court, one would have to find an expert obstetrician (MD) who could testify that these points were shown to have harmful effects. Even if the plaintiff found someone who was an acupuncturist willing to testify against you, they would have no studies to back this up and therefore a good defense attorney should be able to get you out of it pretty easily. In fact, it would be surprising if the plaintiff could find a lawyer to file the case. One would need to convince an average jury that sticking little needles into these points would cause an abortion? Ridiculous. Look at all the trouble that " real doctors " have to take in order to produce the same result. Sometimes, but not very often, its a good thing that there isn't a lot of scientific literature or even common acceptance of acupuncture procedures.
