Thank you very much.... If any one has any suggestions and know of courses (introductory) for students of Western medicine by experience attendance and so forth and have any suggestions. It is not very clear what they the University faculty is looking for. First they mention if their students could be trained to practice some sort of acumoxa, and then started to mention if a course could sensiblisare (make aware) them to acumoxa rather then "practice". I mention that a course however brief would be most utile if it created a space for dialogue between patient and practitioners and between medical paradigms. Also consider that, all at introductorily level (basic): History Modalities of Chinese medicine demographics of various usage of Chinese medicine in Cuba, Nicaragua, Vietnam, Korea, Japan, USA, Canada and of course China and so forth... "mechanism" of acumoxa-natural drugs East-West Diagnosis symptomatic treatment (protocols) disease orientated ? preventative cooking foods... Qi Kung-meditation, Tai chi Chuan* research? "safe" practice and responsible practice Contextulise the class i.e. it is all at a very introductory level. how long should a minimum course be (safety issues and responsibility, with sufficient efficacy) I see the course if it was to happen as a potential steeping stone: Promote Chinese medicine, public health availability and so forth... Potentially create "dialogue" between various social strata and theories ideologies... Potentially create a more solid job for me so I can by at least a book a month ... Create further in-depth programs with people that have genuine knowing doing knowledge of Chinese medicine. Well best to stop there for now otherwise my fantasies are going to create a long incomprehensible letter:-) *my level of these two aspects to medicine and life at large is very rudimentary, but one could incorporate movement-stretching as part of recuperating and maintaining health with a aware but still mind...
