Guest guest
What do the researchers on this list think of this? Will 1: J Altern Complement Med 1997 Fall;3(3):241-8 Related Articles, Links A double blind, randomized, controlled investigation of electrodermal testing in the diagnosis of allergies. Krop J, Lewith GT, Gziut W, Radulescu C. University Department of Medicine, Southampton General Hospital, England. This investigation evaluates electrodermal (ED) testing in 41 polysymptomatic allergic patients. Electrodermal testing discriminated correctly 82% of the time between house dust mite and histamine (allergens) and saline or water (nonallergens) in our first study group involving 17 patients (p = 0.007). The second study involved 24 patients and used the same double-blind methodology discriminating 96% of the time between allergic and nonallergic substances (p = 0.000002). We conclude that ED testing is a reliable method of differentiating between allergic and nonallergic substances in the context of our study. Is this the same as vegatesting? the abstract looks good, but have to see the entire study to check for bias or flaws.

It also needs to be repeated in multicenter study to decrease bias alon
Guest guest
.... We conclude that ED testing is a reliable method of differentiating between allergic and nonallergic substances in the context of our study. I think this conclusion is a bit strong, and of course depends on what the meaning of " is " is (heard Clinton speak in LA last week). I would have preferred to see them say that it " can be " . I would doubt that the ED testers were inexperienced. These ED methods, like kinesiology/muscle testing, etc., are dependant on practitioner skill, health, and their focus on that particular day. However, if someone is actually good at it and knows their and its limitations, there is no other way that I know of to obtain clearer information about many potentially obvious as well as occult cause and effect relationships. That, I believe is why people turn to these techniques, specific cause and effect relationship information. And, it was probably EAV rather than Vega (just a guess).
