Guest guest
Caffeine is considered to modulate vasoconstriction. For this reason it is used in medications such as fiorinal which has 40 mg of caffeine as well as aspirin, codeine and butalbital. This is commonly prescribed for severe headaches and migraines especially when from muscular tension. This is probably why it helps your patient from a western perspective.
