Guest guest
Patient is 35 weeks, low-lying placenta, some bleeding of brownish blood, source not clear but ultrasound is not showing retroplacental source, so possible cervix. Nonetheless, the risk of prematurity is high, so I'd like to try both stopping the bleed and raising the placenta. Patient is doing the right things in terms of rest, under good care. I haven't met the patient yet, just doing some preliminary research, and will probably see her Saturday morning. Anyone experienced with this? Anyone (Bob Flaws?) aware of articles? (I searched the Blue Poppy sight and didn't come up with anything) TIA Rory --
