Guest guest
A question has come up on another list... What are the functions or Ren Zhong Bai (Human urine)? Doesn't seem to be in any of my books. Thanks, if you have any info. -- Al Stone L.Ac. <AlStone http://www.BeyondWellBeing.com Pain is inevitable, suffering is optional. What do you mean. kidney or bladder stones? I thought it was indeed crystallized human urine. Collection of urine in latrines and exposure to heat would sterilize and crystallize the urine producing a stone like product. Is this what you mean? I don't think ren zhong bai is made from actual bladder " stones "
Guest guest
I believe it's the sediment from human urine. Guest guest
Hi Al, I seem to remember Dr. Kim talking about the urine of virgin boys or girls as being potent yang or yin tonics respectively. He told a story about generals going off into battle after taking urine from boys. (my source is my memory as well so I may be leaving some things out). It sounded disgusting at the time and as I write this I still find it repulsive. I think he liked to go for the shock factor. Do you remember him talking about this? I'm sure you could go and ask him and he would be more than happy to tell you about it. Colleen My source is my memory. What is human urine called? Ren Xiao Bian? And what is it used for therapeutically? Thanks. -al.

Colleen: The urine of boys under 8 is supposed to have a lot of hormones, other beneficial constituents, and be antibiotic, if I remember correctly. I've seen it called for in some Chinese formulas mixed with rice wine but have never tried it or used it. How bad can it be when Premarin---used frequently here for HRT---is made from pregnant mare's urine? Jim Ramholz

I suppose we could make our own. Simon

I don't recall this one in particular, though I do remember someone asking him for a holucinogenic/journey type formula. He complied. It had Chan Su/toad venom and shi chang pu in it, as I recall. Perhaps your husband could farm a little bit of that yin tonic from zoe and pass it around the clinic as a dare. : ) -al. > > Colleen > > My source is my memory. > > What is human urine called?
