Thanks Todd. This is very interesting. I know that students

at our school take Yin Qiao all the time, because their

throat is sore, but I suspect the throat is more scratchy

than inflamed. A portion of these students don't improve

after their ingestion of yin qiao, and end up with

bronchitis or a ligering cold.

 

So if someone had wind cold interacting with internal heat,

what would be a good start for a formula to amend? And

would one amend with materials like zhi zi and huang qin?
