dear List,

In fluid pathology there is an interesting note about climate and how it has and is affecting practice, in Knowing practice I think it is mention that north tend to "" to Cold damage school and Zhong Ji was born in the north (?). Whereas in the south they tend to "" to Warm disease. As always there are probably an array of shades. Even the sample Faruquath gives is a interesting combination or rather utilisation (illustration) of the two observational-theoretical-practical constructs (cold damage Warm disease).

Who can ride the dragon? also mentions climate as an influential factor.

Now my question is:

Does any one have any idea which Climate in Asia, within the more establish confineds of East Asian medicine, would be most similar to Guatemala?

Guatemala is in central America and is said to be neo-tropical, however although it is a small country it has quite a difference of climate depending on region within Guatemala and will have to find out more specifically.

With regard to North America Canada, USA, Mexico has any one done a geographical wheatear map comparing it to the map where Chinese-Oriental medicine is practice in Asia?

Australia?

Europe?

I think it would be interesting too consider specially with regard to practice and theory and vice versa as well as research - complexity.

( any one happens to be a geologist-metriologist:-) would be great to here a opinion...

Marco
