Mintong had a more complex taste. The formula I ordered from all the four companies was Yu Ping Feng san. Treasure of the East tasted like malt. That was a big sweet taste, but flat. KPC tasted like fish food. I don't suppose there is any reason for amine compounds to be in there, but that's what it smelled and tasted like. Lotus tasted ok. KPC and Treasure of the East did not taste like herbs. Herbs have volatile compunds that make them more scented and flavorful. I think of herb tastes as being plant like, but not like a vegetable. The Min Tong Yu Ping Feng san had a slightly sour, complex taste, with some sweet elements as well. The taste reminded me of the smell of He Huan Hua and Bai Shao. I know those herbs weren't in there, but I would rather have my powder smell like that than like strong malt beer or fish food. Mail Plus - Powerful. Affordable. Sign up now. http://mailplus.
