Guest guest
I am planning to have a meeting to organize an association of chinese herbology teachers at the June CHA conference. Anyone who teaches chinese herbal medicine at either a TCM college or for approved CEUs (national or state) is welcome to attend. While this meeting will take place on the premises of the conference, it is free to all who attend. Guests are also free to visit the exhibit halls. The meeting agenda will be organizational in nature. It may involve setting an agenda and perhaps forming committees. Also at this conference will be a meeting of the newly formed Association of Student councils. I believe all students and faculty can attend this meeting as well. If you are student council rep, you may have an opportunity for free admission to the CHA conference lectures. Contact President Marc Sklar for more details at mbs319 Perhaps we can rally the student councils to the cause of herbal quality control. finally, I would like to make one more call for papers to be presented at the conference. 4 papers will be selected by a peer review process to be presented at the conference. this segment of the event is for those who not yet been published. it is to encourage rigorous translation and commentary by those who are not yet involved in this area. please follow APA guidelines and submit in MS WORD format. Presentations will be limited to one hour. Papers may be any length that can be effectively summarized or highlighted in that time.
