Guest guest
If Warren Sheir is out there, I would like to know what you think about the feasibility of including some minimal character requirements in herbs classes and on year end exams. Warren teaches herbs 2 and year end review classes at PCOM. His classes require much more memorization than mine do, so his feedback is essential to how I proceed on such matters. This would be on the assumption that all students had been trained in strokes, stroke order, phonetics, radicals, etc. prior to starting herbs. Grammar or other terminology would not be necessary to learn this information, though it would be ideal if students were also concurrently learning medical chinese as an exclusive subject in their first year.
