History of Chinese medicine

A one-day seminar with Vivienne Lo and Volker Scheid at the College

of Integrated , Reading

Both Volker Scheid and Vivienne Lo are scholars as well as

practitioners of Chinese medicine. They will be presenting exciting

and innovative workshops covering two important periods in the

history of Chinese medicine. Participants may find that they have to

leave behind some of the myths and fantasies that have grown up

around the history of Chinese medicine in the West, but they will be

rewarded with a richly textured account that brings to life these

important periods in history.
