Best would be a " simplified characters chinese Operating System " . Not an easy task to deal with messages like 'changes to the registry will be made after reboot' in chinese :-) >we have yet to find anyway to cut & paste the text. So basically it is display only, but you can print it. If anyone has found a way to cut and paste please let me know.. Thanx. Hi, with your text being displayed, you can push the 'PrtSc' (Print screen) button on your keyboard to make a snapshot of your screen then paste (Ctrl-V) it into any chinese OCR software like ziguang- OCR, DanQing OCR to crop it and transform it into editable text. Seems like a lot of hassle but its just some keyboard shortcuts. One could also try if Kingsoft Powerword will use its auto-dictionary functions on the displayed screen: http://www.bluechillies.com/details/4026.html Greetings Tay. (You can contanct me off the list, AS I know this subject may be deviating... ) -Jason
