Guest guest
Here in Boulder there was a case a few years ago of a young man who was facing surgery. After surgery he was to receive blood thinning medications for a brief period to prevent internal thrombosis. Not wanting to take drugs, adn not understanding the importance of the timing of the medication, he took two Chinese blood tonic herb formulas from a local health food store for the week before his surgery. I did not get a report of the exact formula, but both contained dang gui and rehmannia. He bled so severely during surgery that he required 8 pints of blood transfusion before it was controlled.
