I just posted a brief examination of

the term de2 qi4 at the Paradigm forum.

 

I've been thinking about the often posed

question concerning the clinical relevance

of knowing the meanings of words. So I

thought I'd take a well known Chinese

medical term and look into its etymological

dimensions in order to see whether or not

these have any bearing on clinical practice.
