Hullo Todd and group members,

My name is Mónica P Vazquez and I'm writing to you

from Madrid, Spain. Although I've been studying TCM

only since 1995 -I graduated as Bachelor of Science

in Traditional in July 2000, my

experience as patient is much longer -over 30 years,

and very satisfactory.

Dealing with chinese medicine as a student was quite a

challenge for me. With more than ten years' experience

in the field of the alternative medicines, somehow, I

had taken for granted that TCM would be just one step

more. Well, it was -a huge one! It helped me nderstand

the real meaning of " balance " and contributed to some

important changes in my opinions on health and

specially, on how to achieve it.

Now I would like to continue with the next learning

stage, the Master Degree. Also, I think that learning

Chinese would make a difference, specially living

in a country where the information on TCM available in

Spanish is so limited: 90% of my books, articles and

journals are in English!

Anyway, I guess the next 5 or 6 years of my life will

be pretty bussy ...

I've had the chance to read a couple of digests of

this group before actually writing this message and

I'm greatly impressed by the quality of the

information shared and the fluid, participative

dialogue you hold, which I hope to join some time,

soon.
