Guest guest
Will Thanks for your post. I disagree about the delivery systems. I see many children and all take crude herb formulas or granules (dissloved in water, whcih doesn't taste much better than crudes). My own 2.5 year old daughter drinks it up like a champ. Feedback from many parents suggests likewise in their kids. So it is more the deal adults are making, not the kid him- or herself. Of course, there are prescriptions that kids won't take or there are some children that won't take the meds. Generally however, it is not so bad like everybody always says it is. The key is small amount many times per day. Sincerely, Simon Becker -----Ursprüngliche Nachricht-----Von: WMorris116 [WMorris116]Gesendet: Freitag, 21. I have found them all to be effective under the correct circumstances, and my compliance and efficacy is higher than if I adhere to one delivery system. There are clearly types of people who would never consider cooking teas. If one chooses a single delivery system as the method, then there will be an effect on the patient population as a result of that decision that necessarily impacts who you help and who you cannot help. I concur with your statement for pure alcohol extracts. There are companies that do water-alcohol-glycerine extracts such as Far East Summit*. In my experience the best of both worlds can be achieved with this type of combined menstruate. I have used these extractions for fourteen years and found them to be effective...especially for pediatrics. These formulas taste good because of the glycerin and the little buggars like taking them. Some of them like the little honey balls of patent remedies as well. Now I'm not suggesting that die hard formulators switch up - but - especially in pedes management trainings, I find a gaping hole in training effective delivery systems the tikes will consume (Bob Flaws, how much does your pedes training deal with effective delivery systems? The Chinese docs I have studied with spend very little time on the topic). But, I digress. The tradition of wines suggest that for medicinals that nourish and boost essence-qi (shou wu chih) as well as those medicinals that dispel wind damp plus cold or heat the alcohol can be a wonderful medium of delivery. I personally like to take liquid extracts of high quality medicinals and mix them with a little tequila when having a drink with friends. It is a different experience than taking herbs alone or having wine with dinner etc. Will Morris *disclaimer, I write for them Chinese Herbal Medicine, a voluntary organization of licensed healthcare practitioners, matriculated students and postgraduate academics specializing in Chinese Herbal Medicine, provides a variety of professional services, including board approved online continuing education.
